Natural Wines - September 13 @ 5:30pm EST

Natural Wine has been a buzzword in the wine industry for a few years, and has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. These are wines you love to hate, or love to love. Which side will you take? We will explore the following questions:

  • What's the deal with sulfites anyway?
  • Do natural wines really prevent hangover headaches?
  • Are natural wines healthier?
  • What makes a wine natural? Does that mean all other wines are un-natural!?

In this session, you will learn everything you wanted to know about natural wines and more!

Please note: Natural wines may be challenging to find outside of major metropolitan markets, so shipping may be required. The Wine Diva will guide you in your best options for obtaining natural wines after you register for this event.

Wines of Washington State - Sunday, October 11 @ 4:00pm EST

During this course, we will taste our way through a great diversity of wines in Washington State. This wine region is still evolving, with the majority of vineyards planted only in the last 10 years! Winemakers are still experimenting with grape varietals, styles and locations, so a clear Washington State varietal has not yet emerged (like Pinot Noir for Oregon). So we will taste multiple varieties and see if we can form an opinion on what Washington State does best.

  • Riesling
  • Merlot
  • Syrah
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
